1978 Trans Am Y82 4-Speed, 1 of 489

Y82 Special Edition · Factory 4-Speed · 1 of 489 · $129,900

1978 Trans Am Special Edition Y82 / 4-Speed — 1 of only 489 built. The Y82 Special Edition “Bandit” package paired with the factory 4-speed manual was built in extremely low numbers, making this one of the rarest and most collectible Trans Ams of the era.

This particular example is a rust-free western car that has undergone a comprehensive restoration, finished to show-quality standards. The mirror-like black paint is so deep you can see the ground reflected off the rocker panels. All the right details are here: gold pinstriping, snowflake wheels, and the iconic screaming chicken hood decal.

Mechanically, the car has been fully refreshed with new bushings, suspension, and steering components, ensuring it drives every bit as good as it looks.

Offered at $129,900. Car located at the Michigan store. Trades considered. Call 1.305.412.5000, email rick@transamflorida.com, or text/WhatsApp +1.786.218.1763.
