For 16 of the 26 years I
drove the cars all the time. The last 10 years I have
had the car garaged and start it and run it around
occasionally.
So you will see from the
pictures it is not being driven or have current plates
at this time (could get it in an hour if desired).
I know the modifications
you see in the pictures detracts from a stock condition
car but I have everything but the air snorkel to the
shaker.
A few notes:
1.
Current
engine is a 1974 , # 62 heads, Comp 292 cam, torquer
intake, roller tip rockers, Hooker super comp headers
and mufflers with factory quad. ( I have the original
block and heads. Original motor spun a rod bearing so
the crank was not good but the block and heads are fine
and have never been rebuilt. I have the original intake
manifold as well stored in a shop.
2.
Suspension
is Herb Adams 1 3/8” front and 1” rear sway bars. I do
not have the factory sway bars. Period correct for after
market suspension. These do have the spherical rod ends
on the front.
3.
Rear end I
had 4:11 gears installed.
4.
You will see
it has a 8,000 RPM tachometer and 160 MPH Speedometer
from an earlier TA. I have the original factory
instrument cluster.
5.
T-tops are
in great condition and I have two T-top covers.
6.
Transmission
is a factory Super T-10
Car has been stored indoors
for the last 15 years.
Never been wrecked or
dented (requiring body work).
The car is getting some
cancer in a small area on the lower quarter panels. I
can talk pictures if needed.
You will notice the engine
compartment is very clean. I hid the wiring between the
fender wells and front quarter panels. Ran the
alternator wiring under the manifold, etc. (Can’t
explain it, something I did many years ago).
Also currently the car has
a remote fuel pump at the back of the car and regulator
in the engine compartment.
Also I installed the
battery in the truck.
All these modifications can
be changed in no time if desired. I did not do any body
modifications (except a small hole for the battery wire
in the trunk).
The hood has a small
crinkle at the hinge. This happened the day I bought it
when the previous owner tried close the hood in a hurry.
I have lived with it for 26 years.
I have over the years
acquired a few items.
1.
A flawless
hood.
2.
rear
spoiler (this one is fine).
3.
shaker
scoop
4.
Lower front
center spoiler ( I bought this new from GM 16 plus years
ago and its still in the box) Just never had it painted
it to install it.
