1986 Monte Carlo SS sold
|
Up for sale a 1987 true Montecarlo SS , according to my research The only way to tell a true 4th Generation (1983 - 1988) Monte Carlo SS from a non-SS by the VIN alone is to look at the 8th digit of the VIN. For 1984 through 1988 models, the 8th digit MUST be a 'G'. This signifies the car came with the L69, 305ci, 5.0L High Output V8 engine. SS's came with no other engine. Period. . |

This is s a project car that runs strong, this care was purchased by my friend to be restored and he lost interest. the only rust I can see is superficial on top of drivers rear wheel well and bottom of doors. Paint is in fair shape but with little body work and paint could taken to show, interior is overall nice for a 21 year old car, has cracks in dash , missing radio, with some TLC will look great . tires have some tread, but dont know how old they are, The car runs and drives as is, but I would check tires and all fluids, tune up etc... don't assume anything, car is a project for one that wants a true Monte Carlo SS and have fun fixing it, car being sold as is where is, please email us trough ebay if you have questions, priced low for quick sale . We have about 6 more Monte Carlos SS , including Aero coupe models, send us an email will provide photos and details, if you are willing to buy more than one will give you a good deal |
