1983 Monte Carlo SS sold
Up for sale a 1983 true Montecarlo SS white , according to my research The only way to tell a true 4th Generation (1983 - 1988) Monte Carlo SS from a non-SS by the VIN alone is to look at the 8th digit of the VIN. For 1983 through 1988 models, the 8th digit MUST be a '7'. This signifies the car came with the L69, 305ci, 5.0L High Output V8 engine. SSs came with no other engine. Period. Highly collectible, The last full frame rear wheel drive carbureted V8 car make by GM |

This is s a project car that runs , this care was purchased by my friend to be restored and he lost interest. the only rust I can see is on trunk lid, also notice trunk spoiler broken in the corner . Needs little body work and paint to be show, interior needs attentione, with normal fading 25 year old car, with some TLC and patient will look great . Tires need I would replace since I don't know how old they are, The car runs and drives as is, but I would check tires and all fluids, tune up etc... don't assume anything, car is a project for one that wants a true Montecarlo SS and have fun fixing it, car being sold as is where is, please email us trough ebay if you have questions, priced low for quick sale . We have about 6 Montecarlos SS , including Aero coupe models, send us an email will provide photos and details, if you are willing to buy more than one will give you a good deal, I found incredible source of information in this web site http://www.montecarloss.com/MonteFAQ.html#Basic |
