Trans Am Specialties of Florida is proud to present the 1976 Trans Am 50th anniversary  t top  Hurst 455 "L75" 4 speed  with A./C. This is 1 of Only 110 have been made, it is said that less than 30 of these cars may still exist. This specific one only has 44k original miles. It is absolutely 100 percent rust free. As per current owner this trans am is all original with  one show quality repaint  done at  the Trans Am  Museum. The interior, as you will notice in the photos, is flawless. With an incredible preserved undercarriage that still retains its native red oxide primer and an extremely clean engine bay, this car is ready for the show.

 If you are a serious Pontiac collector, this Trans Am is a must to own and should be considered as one, if not, the most collectible Trans Am of the late 70's era due to its exceptionally significant and important history. This car carries the DNA of the Special Edition saga. When referring to limited edition cars, the 76 is very relevant due to the following specific factors:

 1. It is the first time that Pontiac has offered a black trans am. Actually, this one in particular is believed to be the very first Limited Edition out of the production line as per PHS research (read PHS docs at the end of this lisitng).

 2. A limited amount of these black TA's were made into 50th anniversaries, which was to commemorate the first 50 years of the Pontiac division, each one of them were labeled as Special Edition packages (Y82 code), only 110 of these came with a 455 and 4 speed transmission and t tops  like this one.

 3. This was the first time in history that t tops had ever been installed, trans ams never had t tops until the 76 LE debuted, only special editions received t tops, the non SE models were all hardtops.

 4- The  last year you could get a 455 engine was in 1976. After 1976, there were only 400 and 403 engines.

 If all of the above wasn't enough to convince you that this car is a prestigious collectible, think about how unique it will be to own a trans am that is not only a 76 LE, but in a way also a 77 SE sample  because the car was retrofitted as a 1977 by Pontiac itself for the 1977 Dealer catalog, yes this is the car that was photographed and the very same car that appears in the brochure, so think about this,  if you re install the nose and wheels this would be the only "1977 SE" with a factory  455 and 4 speed,  a true    1 of 1...  If this car wasn't available back in late 76 the 77 SE AKA The Bandit wouldn't not be the icon car that  is this days, it would probably not exist, that makes this car the mother of the MOVIE STAR Trans Am, Burt Reynolds itself autographed the glove box,  so if you want to make a killer investment for the future and own one of the most significant cars made by Pontiac in it's history then don't miss this one!
