Here is a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 10th Anniversary with the Pontiac 400 and manual Transmission. This car was sold to us as a 54,xxx  Original Miles but it drives like 5,400 . We sold this car about 2 years ago and owner is now  selling to fund the restoration we are doing  in hi 79 SE black and gold, we know this car very well and can say is mint show condition, best paint job ever seen in a TATA . Just to give you a brief description on this Show Stopping example of a 1979 10th Anniversary Trans Am. It has the Pontiac 400 with the manual transmission. This is a TRUE Original 10th Anniversary car from 1979 Y89 code . This is only one of 1,817 produced in 1979 with the 400 4-Speed combination. This car comes fully loaded with Power Windows, Power locks, Air Conditioning, Rear Defogger, original 8-track, Fisher T-tops with Original storage bags, WS6 handling package with the 15x 8 Turbo wheels mounted with brand new tires that are in excellent condition, and even the power trunk release, all the options are listed on the build sheet at the end of this listing

EXTERIOR: The exterior of this car is in Showroom condition. The paint and all of the decals are in excellent condition . The paint and decals are flawless. All of the correct GM Decals and striping are  there just like it was from the factory. The underside is rust free and was cleaned and refinish, trunk and engine of this car looks  excellent . This is a 10th Anniversary Trans Am in outstanding condition. Every decal and stripe on this car is also in excellent condition. The T-tops are in excellent condition as is all of the weather stripping.

INTERIOR: The Interior of this car is also in excellent condition. The front and rear seats have no tears or rips or fading to them The door panels are original with minor wear on them and can be replaced with brand new ones at your request, they show very good and is not worth replace, that's my opinion. The dash does have a dash cap installed that looks great, you can't notice unless you really know is there  . All of the side panels and trim are in excellent condition as well as the center console. It does not have the original 8-track player but I can get one if you really want it. It also has the power trunk release located in the glove box and works perfect . The carpet is new and in excellent shape as well as the sunvisors . All of the weather stripping is in excellent condition. This car also comes with the original build sheet and owners manuals. In conclusion this car is an excellent investment and a very reliable that will be worth a fortune in the near future.

ENGINE: This Trans Am is equipped with a Pontiac 400 with lots of power .The original engine has been preserved in a crate and does come with the car. The previous owner wanted more power, but did not want to mess with the Originality of the engine. So, he purchased another Pontiac 400 with a Ram air III cam , and original heads and intake and drop into the car with dual exhaust and hooker headers. . The car is also equipped with the M21 manual transmission. The engine runs great and doesn't burn or leak any oil. This car accelerates smoothly with lots of power and shifts even smoother. The car is also fully loaded with WS6 Performance Package, power windows, power locks, rear defogger, Air Conditioning which works very well and blows cold air. It also has the Fisher T-tops with original storage bags, spare tire and canister in the trunk. All of the gauges are functioning even the clock works! The only thing that is not working on this car is the power Ant...... but everything else is functioning just like it did back in 1979. The underside of the car is in great shape for the car being 28 years old. This is no signs of rust anywhere on the car inside, out, and under.
