1981 RECARO PACE CAR custom painted to look like it was originally supposed to look. Two tone red and black. This was a rust free, beautiful car that was completely disassembled and repainted this color. Many many many upgrades with 512 hp new blueprint engine. Be cool radiator, quick performance 9 inch rear end, Street Cal tracks, double adjustable shocks, 4180 overdrive Trans with billet, triple disc converter, tubular control arms, etc..This amazing car took 1st place at the Trans am nationals last year.

Pontiac studio legend John Schinella (the design boss who championed the iconic Screaming Chicken and the black-and-gold SE look) originally sketched the ’81 Pace Car concept in red and black; the program pivoted to white for production. This rust-free Pace Car was completely disassembled and refinished in the two-tone red/black scheme—the way it was first envisioned—then upgraded front to back. It took 1st Place at the Trans Am Nationals last year and drives every bit as good as it looks.
