This is a very unique 76 Special Edition Y82 SE 400  Trans Am

1976 TRANS AM LE 50th ANNIVERSARY. 400/Automatic with T Tops. 1 of 533 built. 12,900 original miles. car sat since 1985. Rotisserie restoration completed in March 2024. Less than 20 miles on the car since.

 1976 was the first year for Special Editions. In that year, Pontiac celebrated its 50th anniversary. By the way, they built very few of these cars, as you should know these SE models  were the first T tops trans am ever, making them rare and highly collectible. The 1976 SE Trans Ams are considered the mother of all the famous Bandit Trans Ams featured in the movie Smokey and the Bandit, starring Burt Reynolds and Sally Field. In fact, several cars used in the movie were 1976 models
