 1979 Trans Am Y84 Special Edition, 1 of 1,107 made with Manual Transmission and 400 ci Pontiac W72 engine, INCREDIBLY WELL PRESERVED!  The car is in Amazing condition, spent most of its life in California, then few years in Florida and ended in a Pontiac collectors hand in the recent years in Boston area, now for sale in our showroom located in Miami. This car was originally built in Van Nuys plant in California and sold trough Dealership located in Oregon. This car we were told was always garaged and babied to the extreme. As you open the door and look and smell the characteristic aroma of this 2nd gens you would swear is a 10k mile car, yes, is that good!

 The car was painted circa 18 years ago and then always kept away from being dented or scratched, no rust could be found or seen anywhere, it really looks like was redone recently. All decals are correct and in the correct spots.  The car starts and drives like a new car. The engine and transmission are matching numbers, see photos at the end of the listing. The car has a new exhaust pipe, cat and mufller, it purrs like a kitten. Everything works, including the clock! A/C blows cold, power windows go up and down fast, not slow like all of them. The car is also a Ws6 special performance package, which means has larger sway bars, short ratio steering and 15 x 8 snowflake wheels and 4 wheels disc brakes (1979 was the first year for this upgrade in trans ams) . Note that the car is riding in newer polysteels radials that cost like $2000. 

If you are a knowledgeable Pontiac guy then you know this is the last year you could get a W72 400 ci Pontiac, only around 10% of the whole production benefit of the last T/A 6.6 liter, and only 1,107 Trans Ams were made like this one, how many are in existence now?
