Ok Folks, Trans Am Specialties is offering for sale this very hard to find 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Y82 code which means is a SPECIAL EDITION, only a total 2,699 units made out of nearly 70k trans am produced in 1977, perhaps a small fraction still in existance. If you are into Trans Ams you already know  factory black on black Y82 with the optional W72 high performance package and factory 4 speed is truly near impossible to find this days and  6 figure dollar cars.

Historically this car had tremendous impact in not only American Pop Culture but also internationally due to its Film Association: The 1977 Trans Am gained further fame and collectibility through its prominent role in movies and television, particularly in films like "Smokey and the Bandit," where it was driven by Burt Reynolds. This cultural significance has contributed to its desirability among collectors.

Another reason this car is so attractive is due to its out of ordinary styling: The 1977 Trans Am Y82 featured the iconic black and gold "Screaming Chicken" hood decal and the  T top roof,  which has become a symbol of the Trans Am and is instantly recognizable. The Special Edition also included other distinctive aesthetic features like the gold pin striping and accents, shaker hood scoop, and unique wheels, Gold dash bezel and gold sports steering wheel  making it a standout in terms of visual appeal.

This car is fully functional,  tight suspension,  working upgraded retro radio, cold a/c, extremely nice interior as you will see in pics below, stunning exterior paint and decals, matching # engine and transmission, upgraded leather steering wheel wrapped / deluxe black seats, and extensive documentation that includes  original window sticker and build sheet plus original purchase invoice and factory manuals and brochures.
