1972 Trans AM 455 HO - This is a Lucerne Blue Trans AM with its numbers matching 455 HO Engine and a 4 speed manual Transmission. There were only 458 of these built in 1972 and even less when you factor in the color. How many can actually be left in restored condition? It is arguably the most desirable color of the early TA's. They are considered one of the most collectible 2nd Generation Firebird's built. Quality examples are very hard to find due to the Factory Strike that halted production and sent a ton of F-Body's to the crusher. It was Sold New at Clohecy Pontiac in Detroit, MI. This car was restored a few years ago with several upgrades since then. The suspension is a Brand New Ridetech Street Grip system including all new steering components, spring and shocks. It is lowered just about 1 inch from stock. All of this gives it a superior ride and a stance that makes it stand out in a crowd. It runs strong and just for peace of mind, we did a compression check on the engine and all 8 cylinders showed 150lbs. The rear end has been completely rebuilt with new seals and bearings. With 1972 TA's in such short supply, this is definitely one of only a handful left on the road. Check out the Hi Resolution photos and see if this is the right one for you.
