There are many replicas out there. Most are just rough. Not the right electronics, 30 year old paint from Maaco, vice grips holding fuel lines together. Not this car!! This is one of the nicest examples you will find that isn't $75K. The Base/Clear Black paint shines at any angle with much depth and gloss. All of the glass is clear. Kitt rides, drives, and handles like a new car. Drives straight down the road, very tight handling. The power steering and power brakes make it comfortable to maneuver. All of the lights, turn signals, brakes, gauges function properly. The interior is new and shows terrific. Tan Seats, carpet, door panels, and headliner.


The electronics and dash are top notch. All LED Lighting, and gauges accurate. It has the season one/two 2 TV Dash. Both TV's are hooked to a DVD Player. You can loop the actual show, or I have DVD's of images of what Kitt would display on the actual show. Its a hit at events or cruise nights!! There is a microphone hooked up to outside speakers. The radio is linked to Kitt's voice box, so the red lights will light up when the music is on, or you can stream through Bluetooth an app on your iphone to talk to kitt and it will respond with various phrases. A back up camera feeds to one of the inside monitors, which can be left on even when driving or in park.


The center and overhead console are correct, and most buttons are functional that actually do control something in the car. The Steering wheel is correct for the Knight 2000, and yes, it is drivable, and no, its not hard to drive. The switch pods, that are along side of the steering wheel, is a season ¾ piece. All buttons light up and look great, and are correct, such as oil slick, grappling hook, ski mode, turbo boost, but sorry, they do not function. This is a 1986 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 equipped with a stock 305 V8 which runs great, and an automatic transmission, see windosticker at the bottom and see the  impressive amount of options. This car is originally black metallic code 68. Clean Carfax. The undercarriage is very clean, solid, and original, with no issues. No undercoat at all, just a factory finish that looks great. The odometer shows 32,548 miles. After reviewing the Carfax Report, and the outstanding condition of underneath the car, appears that is the original correct mileage. This was a New Mexico and California car until 2017!! Mechanically this car is dialed in.

Overall, this is a great opportunity to get behind the wheel of a turn key investment grade piece of history, at a price point lower than past sales.
