Vehicle Description
For sale by owner this
1976 Firebird Trans Am PHS, 25 Month rotisserie
restoration SHOW quality paint. NOT NUMBERS
MATCHING but
was born a 455 4spd . 1 of 7528 cars made with the last
455 engines. This car was purchased in June 2014 and
went through a 25 Month restoration. The car was
purchased all apart, the owner had passed away. I have
put together multiple second generation cars over the
years. I spent a great deal of time on this restoration
swapping parts and body panels to get nice fit and gaps.
Needless to say it may not have the parts it was born
with but it got the best of what I have. Nice rust free
fenders and doors, see pics some small rust repair to
quarter all metal finished. Floor pan at drivers
footwell replaced.
I have monitored Hagerty and NADA classic pricing since
owning this car with an upward trend. NADA adds 10% for
4 speed and 20% for 455 engine. Last price range on NADA
was 17,065 to $65,130. I even went to Scottsdale 2016 to
view a couple 76 Trans Ams selling there lot 103 and 931
specifically. I would compare mine to 931 that sold for
$51,700
This car was born
Carousel Red a very low option car. I
have made changes, additions or un-desirable depending
on your own opinion. To me the car was built the way I
would have liked to see it in 1976.

These cars a sky rocketing and I am in no hurry to sell
it, want to enjoy it for a while. I have put a few
hundred miles on this car going to local car cruises.
This car is the best performance car I have ever had. It
is comfortable to drive, handles and performs.
The car has been appraised by a 35 year veteran
appraiser. I sold 2 cars previously appraised they sold
accurate to appraised value. Buyer will receive a copy
of appraisal done 5-17-17. I will not give appraised
value prior to purchase. Offer will need to be close to
this value for car to be sold.
I will consider any 70-78 Trans Am or 79 Z code for
partial trade. I will need to inspect trade or if
distance too far I will be asking for a boat load of
pictures.
Car is located 35 miles north of Detroit. Pickup only I
do not ship. I will be available if buyer wishes to
arrange shipping.
If there happens to be a picture with snowflake wheels
they are no longer on car, has rally II.
