It continues to amaze that such widely divergent generation of Corvette can be melted seamlessly in a well-conceived Resto Mod, and yet here is another fine sample of the phenomenon: A 1962 Corvette convertible whose details span the years from its assembly at the St. Louis plant to the C4 Generation of 1984-96. A freshly-completed build, its foundation is a custom tubular steel frame powder coated to match the Torch Red paint that clothes the fiberglass body. occupants are coddled in custom heated seats whose leather covering replicates the seating surfaces of C5-genration Corvettes;  Red leather is also used on the dash pad, door liners and steering wheel rim. in keeping with the car's overall quality, the LS3 GM 376/480 Hp crate engine, auxiliary components and engine compartment are clean and all of a piece. riding on C4 suspension fitted C5 disc brakes, C5 chromed wheels and low profile Sumimoto radials, this well executed '62 also comes with power steering an brakes, A/C and 4 speed automatic transmission.
