1980 Trans Am Special Edition *By owner SOLD

1980 Trans Am Y84 SPecial Edition WS6 - $4000.00, includes really nice replacement shaker hood - Contact Ted - 727-698-1127, St Pete FL area.   Good start on a good project. (Have too many). I don't need to sell it but I advertised here because I want it to go to a Trans Am fan!.

PHS documented with build sheet, original owner's manual and FM directory. One of 2,084.  Camel Tan deluxe interior, T-Tops, original  snowflake wheels, rear disc brakes. Numbers matching motor etc. Has  PS, PB, PW, PDL, tilt, cruise, tach, clock,  A/C car. 301 4 bbl (don't laugh, just replace it!) auto. trans, posi-rear. Well optioned, including deluxe interior, rear de-fog, power antenna, Camel tan belts & harnesses, UX6 dual front speakers, remote trunk release etc.   

This car runs and drives, all the gauges work, all lights and turn signals work. Have all A/C parts.  The car has an expired tag and no ins, so "test-drive" is limited to me driving you once around the subdivision.

Work Done:

Replaced valley pan, including located correct/ discontinued PCV valve grommet.

Rebuilt correct /original carb, replaced valve covers, now chrome.

Rebuilt alternator, new belts.

Replaced fuel tank, sender unit.

Replaced Rear spring shackles etc.

Ospho'd underside of trunk floor and sealed.

New air shocks.

New front disc brake calipers.

New sill plates, OE driver door handle assy installed.

All new locks. Lug locks on wheels.

I can also email add'l pics . Dash is nice, car is older repaint.  Has some of the typical rust issues of 2nd gen Firebirds. But, I bought this one because the rails, rockers, hinge pillars were very solid and it had apparently never been wrecked. Up under the package tray wasn't real bad (pics avail). The cowl (one bad  spot)  and floors were not significantly  rusted. The dash is not rusted out on the driver side corner by the post. Has the usual toeboard rust and driver side inner rocker has a rusted spot.  Hood is rusted (Really nice replacement hood comes with the car). Typical rusted roll pan (have nice one for sale) , bottom of fenders, looks like bondo in lower quarters. Again, usual issues with a 30+ year old car.
