trans am 1977 4 speed

This is a 1978 Trans Am MACHO TA #151 out of Mecham Performance, for those that are not familiar with this rare bird here is a little history: in 1977 Dennis and Kyle Mecham (DKM) had the idea of getting the stock trans ams sold at their father’s dealership and turn them into fast machines, something similar to what Hennessey does this days. In 1978 they made only 203 Macho TA and this one happens to be #151 . I got this car from Arizona , which does not surprises me since Mecham Performance is based over there, this car came out of the factory in (24 code) Blue Martinique and as part of the macho appearance it received a lower second tone stripe in silver. In order to be 100% sure the car was legit I contacted Dennis Mecham and he was able to authenticate the car, I posted a photo of the letter that I received from him few hours ago. This car is a nice driver quality trans am, the engine is very powerful and will fry the tires effortless (see video below) , the interior is black and is in nice shape, no cracks in the dash and seats are also in good shape, this cars are hard to come by and the few I have seen for sale are asking high dollar amounts ($25,000 to $48,000), this one is priced to be sold quick.
