1969 firebird convertible

1969 Firebird 400. This car was purchased from the original owner about 6yrs ago and except for an occasional Sunday drive, it has been in storage ever since. The car is still titled to the original owner. This car was a Pontiac show car and it caught the eye of the original owner (Vance) at the Chicago Car Show. He knew at once that he had to have it and made arrangements on the spot to buy it. It was delivered by Public Pontiac of Skokie, IL on 9/28/69. Vance lived in the suburbs of Chicago until 1971 when he moved to Houston, TX. In 2005, poor health forced Vance to move East to be with his family in Bucks County, PA. At the age of 88, Vance's family convinced him to sell his cherished Firebird.

With its unique history and its many rare options, this car is probably the only one of its kind. It has many rare Factory options including the special order Goldenrod paint color, power driver's seat, power windows, tilt and cruise, a/c, deluxe interior, rally guage cluster with clock, hood mounted tach, sport steering wheel, power disc brakes, posi rear, remote deck lid release, rear window defroster, and more. I have been collecting Pontiacs since 1975 and have never seen one this color or with as many rare options.
