1979 Pontiac Trans Am Show Car

Get ready for this spectacular restored 1979 nocturne blue W72, WS6, t-top in absolutely flawless condition

Black TA's or Gold were the popular colors in 1979 , nocturne blue was one of the rarest, this one shown below went trough a extreme restoration during the last 20 years. Just to give you an idea, this Trans Am won 1st place in the modified class at the 2006 Trans Am Nationals in Dayton Ohio*, biggest show for TA's in the world.. As you can see in the photos the car is absolutely brand new inside out, the car was ordered as a radio delete and dealers installed cruise control, power windows and power locks with black vinyl deluxe interior and a factory 4sp (bog Wagner) with factory 3.23 gears. The engine has been completely rebuilt with “extra goodies” added for increased performance, yet designed to look totally stock, around 350 hp. Factory markings as well as new factory decals were added during the several year total restoration. This car serves as one of the greatest examples of what a new Trans Am looked like sitting on the showroom floor. Just take a look to the pics , you better grab a towel to avoid drooling on top of your keyboard!

Engine is just stunning, if photos looks incredible wait when you see it in person, all semi-gloss parts are perfect finished, all the factory decals in right place, no fading on overflow tank or washer bottle, no cracks or fading on air ducts, no discoloration on plated brake booster, just like new!!!

I don't have words for this just see the pictures, every single part was meticulously refinished, tons of hours of work, all the factory marks in place, true dual X exhaust with new tips

*There are very few things that were not factory in this car that I can tell, the 160 mph speedometer, the power locks, the cruise control ( installed at dealer back in 79) and the new performance on the engine, that's why it won 1st on modified class and not in the stock one
