1978 W72 SE Tribute

We found this project for Tobias, he wanted a 1978 TA , w72 with rare hurst t tops ( only few 78's had hurst, they mostly came with fishers)

Car arrived yesterday night, will start complete resto including a professional mod to engine in order to get 450hp, showroom paint, new interior and restored rims and tires.

can't see in the photo but is the matching number engine ends 673 as VIN # and is also a W72 performance package code!

now is going to Charlie's hands to do professional upgrade to 450 or maybe 500 hp

all interior out, front seats were incorrect style custom made, we will redo all them in new correct vinyl, door panels were bad shape, headliner, carpet, tray package, etc.. all interior will be brand new

being sent to be stripped down to metal for new paint!

found little rust on floor boards so we deciede to cut and replace small sections with brand new metal sheet

doors separated from car and being stripped

LOTS OF HOURS, DAYS OF CUT WELD, CUT WELD....

all new bushings for complete front end

body work progressing, new trunk lid was purchased, old one had some rust so we decided to put a new one

fenders reinstalled and now will start alignment of panels

Engine done, just spectacular, Nascar Holley carb, Msd Ignition, POLISHED, PORTED HEADS, ROLLER ROCKERS
