As soon as we listed this documented 77 Special Edition it was taken by Morgan from Texas to be restored by us. This car is a rare combo of black & Gold with red interior, This is the second ONE I have seen in person with this combo color as an SE. Car is in very good shape, very well kept, unfortunately previous owner applied wrong decals (79 instead of correct 77 style with Germanic lettering and smaller bird) Paint is fair shape, some bubbles on clear coat (bad clear in my opinion)but very presentable , all spoilers are excellent, all glass is very good, front nose and bumpers, grills like new, in conclusion a fine sample of trans am all documented real Special Edtion car will go for a complete restoration that will include brand new paint job and correct decals, upgrade engine to aprox 375 hp , detail /refinish engine bay, undercarriage, rear end, service brakes/A/C , etc...and of course changing the red interior to black.
