Hello Rick how are you, hope you’re doing well. I was checking out this trans am ref #00683 with the white interior, on the built sheet it reads hard top coupe but on the picture is a T-top car ?

ANSWER

All trans ams came out of the plant hard top, if car had Y82 package (Y82 implies  t tops, is part of the package, the lack of it would be coded as Y81)  then was sent to Hurst to have the  t tops installed , this means every single TA in 77 will read hard top on the paperwork, even regular TA's non SE  with t tops will read hard top on window stickers.
