It was 1978, when I drove off the lot with a brand new 6.6 liter black smokey and the bandit, a college kid with the world ahead of me. Four years later, I drove off the lot with a brand new 1982 turbo-charged black power house. Four years later, I drove off the lot with a brand new 1986 5.0 liter metallic brown beauty. My dad was there each time, 1986 was the last time and the end of my Trans-am run. Fast forward to 2015, Twenty-nine years later, I still have that 1986 trans-am. Garage kept approx 65,000 original miles, me-the only owner and only driver, still a beauty. I have an emotional tie due to my dad but sometimes you need to let go, to move forward. The looks as I drive down the roads from passing cars, a thumbs up here and that’s a beauty there. I hope you will enjoy as much as I still do.
